About Us

Texas Lions Basketball is a competitive homeschool basketball program throughout the Greater Austin featuring boys and girls teams ranging from 10U to 18U.

Our teams participate in homeschool tournaments and events organized by, run by, or sanctioned by the National Christian Home School Championships (NCHC) organization. In order for Texas Lions Basketball to qualify to compete in NCHC events, our players are expected to comply with eligibility guidelines located at https://www.nchclive.com/guidelines. In addition to providing requirements for homeschooling, age, gender, academics, etc., these guidelines are designed to ensure that every NCHC participant is a homeschool student first and an athlete second.

Texas Lions Basketball teams compete against private and public schools at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels and against other homeschool teams and organizations. We also participate in local leagues and tournaments as opportunities arise.
